DuoHeat Radiators have revolutionised the way we think about electric heating, by providing a totally flexible solution to individual room or whole house heating. Storage Heaters use inexpensive off peak electricity to store heat in a core of high density bricks. This heat is then given out during the day and evening. Insulation panels between the bricks and the outer core ensure there is plenty of heat all day long.

Q. Re: 3no. Elnur Storage Heaters 1.7kw and 1no. Dimplex tower warmer 120kw. For delivery to Isle of Mull PA67 6DN. Delivery charge at checkout was shown as £4.80. Is this correct as these are heavy goods.? Also I require 3 storage heaters, not 2 or 4, but was unable to change the number. Q. I really need some advice here. I am purchasing a stone cottage, which is currently being heated by dated storage heaters. With no gas in the village, I will be staying with electric heating BUT, do I replace with storage heaters or electric radiators? I work full time and don't need the heat generally during the day, which puts me off storage heaters, although I understand the heat is more controllable these days. Q. I am looking for a replacement off peak storage heater of 2.5kw but its maximum width is 750mm.and preferably a bit less. Our existing one is 730mm and a Unidare but the latter's replacement is 788mm unfortunately.

Yes you can install a storage heater in a bathroom provided that it is rated for this type of location. Robinson Willey, Dimplex and Creda all make a storage heater suitable for a bathroom. You could also install an electric towel rail or radiator in bathroom as well.
Q. Good day I am hoping that you can give me some help, please. We live in Minnesota (USA) near the Canadian border. Twenty years ago built a house and had two 1K Creda off peak electrical storage heaters installed in our bathrooms. Both heating elements have burned out. Question one - is there anyway to get replacement heating elements, from you or a distributor in the US? Question two - if that is not possible, is there a US distributor that I can contact for Creda units - or, if we ordered from you, what would approx shipment costs be, please? Sorry Barry, the price would be £32. If it is of any interest the Elnur storage heaters include carriage in the price, but you will still find the Robinson Willey storage heaters cheaper including the carriage.

a)Auto night storage heaters – High performance storage heaters with auto sensor; they sense the room temperature and adjust the input accordingly..
b)Combi storage heaters– A storage heater with a convector heater element allowing the heater to be used as a storage heater and a normal convector heater to give extra heat where needed.
c)Manual storage heatersThe input control needs to be set manually. We tend to push the automatics as there is not much price difference.

Hello I am looking at your website and need some advice please I am trying to find an economical way of heating a loft bedroom which at present has no heating unless I plug in one of my Delonghi electric heaters One option is sealing my central heating system but my plumber says there is a risk of pressurised leaks occurring elsewhere in the system so I am not too certain about that option He said, however that there were low wattage electric heaters which would do the trick My De Longhi 'old fashioned radiator' type electric heater on wheels has a 2000watts output which suggests that it would be very costly to run The loft room is a relatively small L shaped bedroom with room for a double bed and a desk and not much else.....In the summer it is extremely hot up there but for the two or three really cold months it needs a heater Can you recommend one with low runnings costs which would do the trick. The last thing I want is a huge electric bill because of choosing the wrong type
As you have been having a look at our website you have an idea of the range on offer. I would suggest the cheapest and easiest way would be to use a plug in timer to limit the time the radiator is on for. Does it have a thermostat? If you think it is too big then go for something of less wattage. My recommendations would be either a Dimplex PLX if you want wall mounting or an electric radiator like you already have or a convector heater if you are after a portable heater.
