Installation is further simplified by a host of innovative features including multiple terminals per zone for ease of wiring.  Where communication of system events is a priority, a wide range of plug-on multi-protocol communicators are available plus full upload/download via Wintex^TM software.

The Premier 640 Control Panel has received a software update resulting in significant design enhancements. Premier 640 control panels now feature 64 true areas, 500 user codes, and a 5000 event time & date stamped log. Each zone also now features programmable resistance values along with additional features designed to further increase flexibility and ease installation. Control panels with the new version 8 software are still fully EN 50131 & TS 50131-3 Grade 3 compliant and expandable to 640 zones.

This provides installers with even greater flexibility in all areas of system design, and when combined with Texecom’s range of Keypads, Expanders and Communicators a system to suit any installation can easily be designed.

As of the 2nd January 2008 all Premier 640 control panels have been manufactured with version 8 software installed. In order to accommodate the expansion to 64 areas and to further ease the programming of large systems, some minor changes have been made to the programming platform.

In order to fully explain the advantages of these changes to the installers and allow them to gain the maximum benefit from the new version 8 software in the Premier 640 control panel, Texecom is providing free training courses for installers at mutually convenient times and locations.
