The key to design, is identify the problem, engineer the problem out and provide an easy solution which is actually very intelligent. The main problem with security control panels is that we expect the user to do something different when they set the system at bedtime. The potential problem with this is that the user makes a mistake and the external bell starts sounding, neighbours are roused and the integrity of the system is compromised. Sometimes 8 Zones just isnt enough. Good job that most Avanti models can be expanded to 24 Zones then! As long as you opt for Avanti LC PLUS, AvantiXP or AvantiXP PLUS then expansion is easy. ZXP is supplied as either a PCB or boxed.
