Mosquito PIR Activation Timer

 When using a PIR detector to activate the Mosquito, it is often desirable to have the Mosquito to turn off as soon as or shortly after the PIR has ceased detecting movement. In its configuration, the Mosquito will stay on for at least 20 minutes after the PIR has ceased detecting movement.

The Mosquito PIR Activation Timer is a small additional unit approximately 50mm x 25mm x 12mm. This unit is designed to be retro-fitted inside a standard MK II Mosquito on-site and affixed to the inside of the Mosquito housing via double sided high tack adhesive pads.

The PIR Activation Timer requires a small amount of wiring, taking approximately 5 minutes to connect and can be adjusted to keep the Mosquito running between 5-60 seconds after the PIR has detected movement. Each time the PIR detects movement, the Mosquito will reactivate for the set period of time.

Using the Mosquito PIR Activation Timer will reduce the time the MOsquito is active and prevent it operating when there are no people present in the immediate area.
