Burglar Intruder Alarm Systems -> Wireless Burglar Alarm Systems -> Keystone Wireless Burglar Alarms -> K600 Four Channel Transmitter / Fob
Keystone Four Channel Hand Held Transmitter / Fob |
The Keystone four channel hand held transmitter / fob is designed for use with the Keystone receiver. It is normally used by engineers when installing Keystone wirless products.
With the extra channels it allows a system to be tested for arm/disarm, panic and also walk test the transmitter range to the receiver before installation, avoiding range problems.
The range of the transmitter is 30m** under normal conditions.

**Range The range of the detectors to the control panel will vary depending upon the building layout, construction of the building and thickness of walls. The orientation of the alarm panel and detectors can also affect the range. Find a place for the panel which is dry, as central to all transmitters as possible, as high as possible and away from sources of interference such as computers, televisions, electric motors, convection heaters, air conditioners and large metal objects that could shield the RF signal. It is recommended that, before both panel and transmitters are installed, a placement test be undertaken.
