The Keystone single channel hand held transmitter / fob is designed for use with the Keystone receiver, either as a addition to a hardwired system or as part of the Keystone wireless alarm kit. It can be used to arm or disarm a alarm system or alternatively as a hand held panic function.
This could be used in conjunction with a autodialler to make a nurse-call facility, if the hand held button were pushed it could warn by telephone using a specific pre-recorded message that assistance is required.

The range of the transmitter is 30m** under normal conditions.

**Range The range of the detectors to the control panel will vary depending upon the building layout, construction of the building and thickness of walls. The orientation of the alarm panel and detectors can also affect the range. Find a place for the panel which is dry, as central to all transmitters as possible, as high as possible and away from sources of interference such as computers, televisions, electric motors, convection heaters, air conditioners and large metal objects that could shield the RF signal. It is recommended that, before both panel and transmitters are installed, a placement test be undertaken.
