The Keystone wireless door / window contact is designed for use with the Keystone receiver, either as a addition to a hardwired system or as part of the Keystone wireless alarm kit. It has built in terminals so that a number of contacts may be hard wired into it enabling the installer to protect a window with a large number of openings.

**Range The range of the detectors to the control panel will vary depending upon the building layout, construction of the building and thickness of walls. The orientation of the alarm panel and detectors can also affect the range. Find a place for the panel which is dry, as central to all transmitters as possible, as high as possible and away from sources of interference such as computers, televisions, electric motors, convection heaters, air conditioners and large metal objects that could shield the RF signal. It is recommended that, before both panel and transmitters are installed, a placement test be undertaken.
