Rapid Unico Sky Easy-Fit Air Conditioners

An elegant, self contained unit simply requiring two vents through an external wall, the Unico Sky provides an effective and efficient air conditioning solution without the need for pipework or external condensers usually associated with installed systems.

No specialist skills are required to fit the Unico Sky. It can be installed quickly and easily from inside the room at low or high level. The patented folding grilles can eliminate the need to gain access to the outside of the building. As the two discreet grilles that cover the vents are the only external evidence of air conditioning, visual integrity of the building is maintained. This is of particular benefit where planning permission is a consideration. With the elimination of an external condenser, the Unico can be fitted at high or low level from within the room, requiring only a standard 13 amp electrical supply.

The unit is supplied ready for low level mounting. When the Unico Sky is installed at high level, the casing is simply reversed to accommodate the change of airflow. Once the position of the unit has been decided, simply drill the vents, fix the bracket and install your climate control solution. The discreet, folding grilles are fed through the inlet and outlet vents and are quickly located and fixed from within the room. This can eliminate possible external access problems.

When the Unico Sky operates in cooling only mode, condensate is removed through water evaporation on the condenser, therefore a drainage pipe is unnecessary. When working in heat pump mode, condensate removal is through a drainage pipe. Access to the outside of the building is required when installing the fresh air kit.

Everything needed to fix the unit is supplied apart from a drill and core bit. It couldn’t be easier!
