Acrylic primer with Thermilate ceramic beads suspended in the formulation.  The ceramic beads reflect radiant heat.  They are also hollow which further reduces thermal conductivity.  Varme Therma Coat is designed to replace the standard acrylic primer that is sold with under-tile kits.  Used in conjunction with electric under tile heating, either in addition to tile backer boards or on its own, it can save up to 20% of energy losses.  In tests there was as much as a 2°c temperature difference between a treated and un-treated floor.

Each bottle contains 1 litre and covers up to 16m².  It can be multi layered to improve thermal efficiency.
