Hyco Oasis Point Of Use Water Coolers
The Hyco Oasis Point of Use water cooler offers a very low cost yet high performance alternative to rented bottled water units. A direct water connection is made to the normal mains cold water supply and a high quality UK made activated carbon filter removes chlorine and other trace chemicals, resulting in an almost unlimited supply of refreshing chilled water. The only ongoing costs are the need to replace the filter every six months or so. All parts necessary for installation are included.
The Oasis water cooler is also available in a version designed to work with standard bottles. Bottles can generally be re-filled using a normal domestic water filter and tap kit. Both cooler types have the following features:
Features
Ozone-friendly refridgeration technology
adjustable cold water temperature
capable of supplying small amounts of near boiling water for hot beverages, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How cold is the water supplied by the water cooler? The temperature of the cold water is between 4° and 10°.
- How often does the filter need to be changed? The UK made filter needs to be replaced every six months or so.
- What is the second tap on the water cooler for?The other tap on the water cooler provides hot water at around 80-90°. The unit has a small tank (1.5litre capacity) for providing the water for hot beverages.
- Can the hot tap on the water cooler be disconnected? The hot tap cannot be taken off the water cooler, but the element can either be switched off at the back of the unit or disconnected entirely. This would mean that one tap provided chilled water and the other would provide water at room temperature. This can be used as a safety measure if there is a risk of children using the unit and scalding themselves.
- How long does it take before the water cooler is ready to use?It takes approximately 15 minutes for the hot water supply to be ready and approximately 30 minutes for the cold supply to be chilled.
