BG RCD Connection Unit or Spur - Latching

 

Moulded RCD connection unit provides double pole disconnection from electric shock and protecton against fir hazards for the appliance and the cable connected to it.  They comply fully wit BS7288 and BS1363 and are designed to be mounted on standard recessed back boxes or surface patresses.

There are two types of RCD, passive (latching) and active (non-latching).  This connection unit is a passive version and will retain closed contacts if the mains supply is interrupted - ideal for applications such as freezers.
