Who are Alert Electrical Wholesalers Ltd.?

Alert Electrical Wholesalers started in 1994 based in Nottingham. The company expanded steadily through solid organic growth, not employing a dedicated sales force, but preferring to rely on a service and a good reputation.

November 1998 Alert Electrical Wholesalers, Derby Branch opened its doors.
May 2002 'Alert Electrical Wholesalers, Leicester branch' opened.
July 2005 'Alert Electrical Wholesalers, Ilkeston branch' opened. The website is run from Ilkeston branch where there is the capacity to stock in depth over 5000 products allowing a quick turnaround of orders received from the website.

Stock in depth
Alert are not purely an Internet company, 80% of the business is from trade counter sales. To satisfy this market extensive stocks are available for immediate purchase. Procedures are constantly reviewed and refined in an effort to deliver on time every time.

As part of Alert's commitment to service, they undertake to make sure that all prices remain competitive and are price checked regularly with the competition. Alert supply to you products of maximum quality and value for money.

Carriage is free of charge for all standard orders over £90.00 + VAT to most mainland UK destinations. Orders under £90.00 but over £45 we charge £4.00 + VAT. Orders under £45.00 we charge £6.00 + VAT. This is based on next working day delivery if the order is received before 12pm (Mid day). Orders despatched on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Please note that delivery next day is only possible if the goods are in stock, we do not guarantee next day delivery, the carriage charge for orders under £45 is a subsidised charge to cover the cost of transport.

There will be an extra charge to the highlands and islands of Scotland, northern Ireland and other islands around the UK.  If you are not sure if an extra carriage charge will be applied you should enter your address in the checkout for an instant quotation.
