Arctic flexible cable or Arctic flex is, as its name suggests, is designed to work at lower temperatures and remain more flexible  than standard flexible cables. Its is rated to work down to a temperature of -20c.

Yellow Arctic Flex is commonly used to supply 110v to power tools and portable appliances on building sites where a 240v supply is not permitted.

  Bought this to make a hook up for when we go camping. Price quoted was one of the best on the web (most places want you to buy a 100m reel of the stuff too). The cable is really good quality and the service from Alert Electrical was first class.
