As an added safety feature all  Tubular Heaters are fitted with a heat sensitive cut-out. In the unlikely event of failure the cut-out will activate, thus preventing the unit from exceeding the normal running temperature rate. We also supply a range of guards to protect small children or animals from inadvertantly touching the surface.

  bought one to give some background heat at night in a small greenhouse. works with a plugin timer from a supply in my hut next to g'house. Has certainly kept the temp. up a degree or so and works fine. Shame the guards are a bit pricey.

  I bought this heater to mount on the back lower wall to a large shelved built in wardrobe that we use for storing all our bedding. Fitting was very easy with all the clips supplied. The heater itself does not have a temperature control and I found it gets too hot to touch so I made a barrier to stop items being pushed against it, although you can buy a guard with this product which I thought was a bit pricey. Overall a good product and ideal for this use.

  i bought 3 of these not too long ago in the hope they would help to keep my log cabin warmish, i must say as far that goes i wish now i had bought something else instead of these, i'm not saying they aren't good, just that they really dont keep my 10'x 14' log cabin anywhere near warm, probably would be best suited to a small area.

  I find the Dimplex heaters very good in terms of quality and the output of the 1m product was perfect for maintaining an airing atmosphere in large built in warderobes
