Hylite IP55 Greenhouse Tubular Heaters 

IP55 rated to protect against sprayed or hosed water, and so are ideal for use in a greenhouse, where they offer frost protection to plants and seedlings, and help reduce condensation. The heaters are coloured green, and come with a floor standing kit, a 2m cable and a plug.  These heaters are also very economical to run, and compare very favourably with other types of greenhouse heaters - paraffin and electric fan heaters, which cost significantly more to run.

As an added safety feature all  Tubular Heaters are fitted with a heat sensitive cut-out. In the unlikely event of failure the cut-out will activate, thus preventing the unit from exceeding the normal running temperature rate. We also supply a range of guards to protect small children or animals from inadvertantly touching the surface.

  I purchased 2 x 80w heaters to keep a background heat in my workshop which is an insulated 12'x6' shed. They do the job admirably and at present no other heating is needed.
