The Aqua 4000si Scalemaster electric shower is a variant model of the Aqua 4000 that comes with Full Scalemaster Scale Protection. Available in 8.5 kw, 9.5kw & 10.5kw its guaranteed to meet all your requirements when it comes to performance without compromise.  Supplied with Galaxys new elegant Prima shower fittings including adjustable handset with 5 invigorating spray patterns and easy rub-clean nozzles.

Approximately 60% of the UK's population are supplied with hard water, which can have damaging results on heating elements and consequently shortens the life of your shower.

Limescale build-up of just 1/8th with reduce heating efficiency by 20%. The 3000si has specially coated heating elements that prevent particle adhesion and crystal build up. An electrolitic inhibitor alters the size and shape of the crystals thus reducing their adhesive properties and allows them to be harmleslly flushed through the system.

  Arrived extremely promplty. I finally powered this unit up over the weekend and have been so impressed by its quality.   This shower is excellent value for money. Thanks to Alert's Stacey. She was able to deliver the shower on the promised day and not waste my plumber's time. The shower looks good, fits well . It continues to dribble after we switch off (as previous viewer noted), and it leaks from the joint. It takes about 20 seconds to stop completely. The 'STOP' button should have been in a different colour . After a steamy shower , you can not locate it instantly. The shower hose connector is smooth and conical. That makes it difficult to tighten on the body, and can leak hence. Galaxy has to remember that Function comes before Form.

  I used this to replace a Galaxy Aqua 3000Si which had stopped working correctly. I chose it because it has exactly the same electrical and plumbing connections (plus holes in the case for fixing to the wall). The 3000Si problem was due to hot water being left around the element when it is turned off; this caused the overheat to trip which would take an age to reset. The 4000Si continues to run water past the heating elements once the shower has been turned off; this should eliminate occurrance of the 3000Si problem. Alert Electrical's excellent pricing, service and delivery schedule could not be faulted. All in all, job done, minimal hassle - Isn't that what we all want? :o)
