Videx 4000 Series Code Lock Modules
The 4000 SERIES is a new range of modular door panels
The new modules are available in the following versions:
- Audio Speaker Unit (4837-X series)
- Audio Intelligent Speaker Unit (4838-X series)
- Video Speaker Units with built in Camera (4832-X series)
- Camera Only Modules (4830)
- Button Expansion Modules with Single Row Buttons (4842 to 4845)
- Button Expansion Modules with Double Row Buttons (4842D to 4845D)
- Codelocks (4800 and 4900)
- Proximity Reader Module (4849)
4800 and 4900 Codelock Module.
The 4800 and 4900 modules includes three relays and two push to exit inputs. Codes can be programmed from 4-8 digits in length, relay times can be from 1 second to 99 seconds or latching. The 4800 allows 3 codes to be set, whereas the 4900 allows 100 codes.
4000 Series Overview:
The 4000 series has been designed using the latest 3D modelling software. The new design is characterised by a number of new features: The modules with front plate and push button are manufactured in mirror finish stainless steel. The frame (which is also the module support) is manufactured from one piece of die-cast aluminium alloy which gives substantial strength to the outdoor station. Modules are attached to the module support frame using a simple but strong clip system. The fixing system of the front panel (flush or surface) uses torx pin machine screws.The modular system consists of 3 main items:
-The Modules.
-The front supports (for flush mounting).
-The surface mounting units (for surface mounting).
The module support frame (flush or surface) is hinged to the back box. This allows for ease of installation and connection as both hands are free.
The standard finish for module support frames and surface back boxes is embossed, metallized "gunmetal grey" while the module front plates are mirror finished stainless steel. Other finishes are available by special order.
