Infinite INF-RX8 8 Channel Receiver For Hard Wired Control Panels

The Infinite INF-RX8 is a stand alone receiver that enables Infinite wireless detectors to be used with most popular hardwired control systems.  The standalone receiver provides an interface between wireless devices and the control systems wired zone inputs.  The INF-RX8 includes a simple, menu driven programming interface and supports up to 8 individual detectors and 16 keyfobs.

The INF-RX8 supports two types of keyfob transmitters, INF-PANIC and INF-MFB.  Up to 16 keyfob transmitters can be registered to the receiver.  It should be noted that when using keyfobs, 2 zones are sacrificed which means a maximum of 6 other detectors can then be connected to the receiver.

All programming and transmitter registration is performed using the up and down navigation keys located underneath the LCD readout (See the lower image).

The INF-RX8  includes a signal strength test to check the strength of the signal received from the wireless transmitter detectors and keyfobs.

Quick installation times and a wide range of security and environmental devices make wire free systems very attractive. The downside is the installer has to learn the programming techniques for a new control panel. INF-RX8 allows the installer to stay with the hard wire system they recognise whilst enjoying all the benefits of a wire free installation.
