Hyco Zephyr Fan Heater

The Zephyr 2kW downflow fan heater is ideal for small domestic rooms, such as bathrooms, en-suites, cloakrooms and kitchens.

Quick and simple to operate, yet very effective in performance, the new model has a pull cord, to switch the power on and off, and a neon power-on indicator. The Zephyr also has two power outputs, set on installation at 1 or 2kW, and a key energy saving feature in its ‘step down’ function, which provides additional comfort. When set to 2kW, the product heats a room to the temperature fixed on installation and then steps down to 1kW. When the temperature drops below the pre-set level, the output increases again to 2kW.

  Good value for money. runs quietly. But difficult to refit cover. First to get the bottom tabs located, then to get the 2 top fixing screws in passed the shoulder at the bottom of the screw holes. The screws have very sharp points and I ended up grinding the points off

  It is alright for the price, does the job. Getting the screws back to hold the front cover on was a difficult operation and the thermostat was not very efficient, but that was solved with a seperate room thermostat. The truth is, you get what you pay for!
