Airflow Inline Duct Kits

Airflow Inline Duct Kits comprise; exterior gravity flap grille, circular internal adjustable air valve, four duct cable ties and a 6m length of flexible ducting.  The fan is not included, please see the link below.

 The AV100 kit is designed for the Airflow Aventa AV100 duct fan but is suitable for all other 100mm duct fans.

The AV150 kit is designed for the Airflow Aventa AV150 duct fan but is suitable for all other 150mm duct fans.

  My only problem with this duct kit was with the jubilee clips supplied with the kit. I`m not sure if the problem is the design of the clip, the quality of the clip, or my inexperience with this type of clip, but I simply could not get the screw to engage with the metal strip. After a number of attempts, the effort I was putting in to get the screw to bite into the thread of the metal strip only resulted in twisting of the strip. I eventually discarded the jubilee clips supplied and bought new ones of the traditional design. I have used many jubilee clips of the normal design over the years without any problems. However I found the clips supplied with this kit impossible to use.

  It is not obvious from the website that the ducting kit is for a vertical outlet and that the outlet grille contains hinged flaps. In fact I wanted to use it for the outlet in a soffit board i.e. in a horizontal position. To do this I needed a fixed outlet grille, which I was able to obtain from Screwfix (actually made for Manrose ducting) I would like to suggest that it would be useful to sell the kit with the alternative of a fixed grille. ---- otherwise everything was fine
