  over the past 8 years i have had 2 of the galaxy showers both have had the same problems and ended up u/s.first the cover joints part, water gets in & small burn out on the boiler terminal, this is repairable by wire replacement and reseal, the unit seems to lose a bit of heat and flow but acceptable.after that the covers start to crack, another burn out, mastic it all up and it'll last another 8 months/ year. why did i buy 2? because the wiring and cables had all been tiled and it seemed the only unit to fit without ripping the tiles off.Talking to other people the general thought is that there all as bad as the next one,pay your money and take your chance regardless of cost. Seems the plastic on all electric showers needs looking at by the manafactures
