Why choose an air movement fan?

Air movement fans have a number of valuable benefits:

1) Moving air feels cooler
It is a fact of science that moving air feels colder than still air (weather forecasters call this the wind chill factor). Airjammer fans significantly affect the perception of the temperature of the room in fitness area

2) Moving air creates lower pressure
This law of physics means that although the Airjammer is in effect blowing a cylinder of air directly in-front of it, the fact that this channel is at a lower pressure than the air above, below and to the sides means the higher air pressure itself starts to move to even out the pressure and this causes a perceived cooling effect throughout the room

3) Air movement allows ventilation systems to work more effectively
Air cooling systems and standard ventilation systems such as air intakes and even open windows require air movement to work most effectively to remove hot air. In still air situations the heat generated by people exercising, the motors of machines, lights etc. rise towards the ceiling. Windows and ventilation systems are typically at eye height rather than roof level. By moving the air in the room the hot air is in effect blown out the windows, doors etc and replaced with cooler air from outside.

4) Air movement leads to greater evaporation
Washing on a line dries quicker on windy days than on still days. The same effect leads to improved evaporation of perspiration and therefore greater comfort whether exercising or working.
