Texecom Ricochet Wireless Devices

The Texecom Premier series has received a great new range of compatible wireless accessories; the Texecom Ricochet range.  Texecom Ricochet enabled wireless devices receive and repeat wireless transmissions from other devices. The size, scalability and range of the entire system are extended as wireless signalling is no longer limited by point-to-point communications.  The range of a Texecom Ricochet enabled wireless system is greater than previous systems, with multiple devices capable of relaying messages to and from even the most remote locations in a building.      Each Texecom Ricochet enabled device provides signalling routes to and from Texecom Premier Control Panels. Should wireless connection between two devices weaken, the network will self-heal and automatically re-route communications via alternate RICOCHET enabled devices. With more RICOCHET enabled devices installed, the greater the reliability of the system.

  On this Texecom premier 24 Mark are referering to "wintex software", are that delivered with the premier 24, or ??. And how are the connectíon made to the premier 24, do I need to by some add ons for that. Another issue, are the installation manual the same as in "user guide" here. And i have tryed to print it, but i am getting a error, saying that i cant print this. Kim

  Great control panel, lot's of room for cabeling and batteries. Nice and easy to install. I've used the onboard expander and remote expander both are nice and easy to setup. Configuration and commissioning is easy either using a keypad or direct form a laptop or PC using wintex software. Overall a great panel.

  Really good control panel. Comparing to older 816 lot of useless functions has been taken away which makes programming more straightforward. Programming via keyboard is also easy now which was hardly doible in 816. Plastic casing is not top quality but does the job. Space inside is big enough to accomodate quite a big battery.
