The Dimplex TUX range of tubular heaters is ideal for applications which require safe, low-wattage background heating for frost protection or as window de-misters. With a totally enclosed heating element, the design is very safe, reliable and does not dry the air like some convection or radiant heaters. Designed with safety, reliability and low running costs in mind, all models comply with BEAB surface temperature requirements and are BEAB approved. Each unit is supplied with mounting brackets for floor or wall-fixing and an optional interlinking kit will allow the heaters to be ‘banked’ in pairs if a higher heat output is required. With applications ranging from workshops and garages to greenhouses, conservatories and airing cupboards, caravans and yachts, the TUX range is suitable for numerous commercial and domestic situations.

  We brought two of these heaters for our rattery (a 10 by 6 insulated shed) they arrived quickly, and have kept the shed toasty warm all winter (between 10-15 degrees) we were so impressed with them we brought 4 more for our children, two for our son who hasn't got central heating, they take the 'chill' off his bedrooms, and one each for my daughters as back up heaters for colder rooms in their homes. We're really pleased with them and would definately reccommend them.

  I bought the 60W tubular heater to place in a single brick utility room without heating. It is mounted low down at the back of the washing machine to ensure that the pipes do not freeze up. Deliverywas excellent. Fitting was easy and it works well getting quite hot. Need to ensure that it does not touch the rubber hoses.

  Excellent Product, Tube does get very hot to the touch and does provide good heat for my standard size porch. I connected a thermostat so I do not need to turn it on and off manually. When I first received it I did get some smoke from the ends when powered, but it disappeared in about 1 minute and was fine after and still working.

  I was very impressed at the speed in which the heaters were delivered. We had a slight problem with the heater, placed in a roof space, emitting what appeared to be smoke. I contacted the aftersales team, who were most efficient in answering all questions put to them. Well done! The 'smoke' was, in fact, just a simple burning off of the seal.   I have used Dimplex heaters in the past and been very pleased. I ordered two more heaters on 6th October this year. I installed both heaters two weeks later.The 60 watt is still ok but the 120 watt packed in after only one week. The heater was installed with all the correct clearance. Will not be buying any more DIMPLEX.

  Affter last winter's frost wrecked our washing machine housed in the un heated conservatory and the insurance did not cover it I decided to put a small heater behind it on the floor close to its cold water inlet. This item does the job splendidly - justs sits there out of sight gently warming the area above it and stopping the new washer from freezing.
