  Really, the 23W ones can light a large room as well as a 100W incandescent. They warm up quickly too.

  Bought 4 of these looking at the pictures as they look nice, but when I received them the quality was shockingly poor and cheap. DONT BUT THEM just buy looks!!

  Bought these to replace the ones I got at B&Q, which they sell under their own label. Identical apart from the price i.e. at B&Q they cost almost twice what they do at Alert Electrical. SImple design, easy to fit.

  I have had a 50% failure rate with these fittings, but whilst they are working they are excellent. Pity that the cable access hole in the current model is in a different place from the previous model, so replacements have to be modified. Also a pity that Eterna show no interest in the failure rate. Price and delivery from Alert Electrical is as good as it gets.

  Ordered 2 x Eterna 58W Fluorescent with defuser to replace existing which were several years old. One failed in 24 hours - swopped out tubes, checked power supply and concluded soft starter had failed. Alert Electrical replaced defective unit without question and in good time - good service from them

  I found these fittings easy to install and a nice looking fitting, however I can't help but feel the quality is a little poor and the fittings will not last a long amount of time.

  Only recently installed but first impressions are very good. Nice slimeline product which is hardly noticeable, just what I wanted. I had to tape the internal wires to stop them hanging down in the diffuser. Only very slight observation would be that the cable inlet hole on the back is too close to the connector block.

  I've purchased and used about 10 of these products. Although they look good the build quality and reliability is poor. The high frequency ballasts fail after a short time (3 to 6 months) and generate a lot of electrial rf noise. The diffusers crack (heat & uv aging) after about 12 months. A shame as potentially they're a good product. I'd gladly pay twice as much for a product looking the same with better build quality, reliability and lower electrical noise.
