The Retrofit Surge Board can be added in parallel to your existing installation, either installed alongside your Consumer Unit / Distribution Board or at the District Network Operators (DNO) cut out, protecting the whole installation (distance permitting).

We have 3 options to cater for all installations

MCU04/W/6 SPD-1PC2 & MD163B, TN-C-S earthing

The MCU04/W/6 Comes complete with a prewired Type II / Class 2 surge device (assembled to suit your earthing arrangement) and a 63A MCB for added protection and also to isolate the Surge Device for maintenance and testing purposes.

MCU04/W/7 SPD-2PC2 & MD163B, TN-S earthing

The MCU04/W/7 Comes complete with a prewired Type II / Class 2 surge device (assembled to suit your earthing arrangement) and a 63A MCB for added protection and also to isolate the Surge Device for maintenance and testing purposes.
