The one design of type 2 surge arrestor can be fitted onto any domestic supply including TT systems. The plug-in arrestors are completely replaceable and supplied as spares unit when they have worn out. The two types of Surge arrestor L-N & N-PE have a mechanical key interlock to stop them being put in the wrong slot of the surge arrestor.
