Where next day delivery is offered it is based on orders received before 3.30pm. Orders despatched on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Where there is a bank holiday the order will be delivered on the next working day instead. Please note that delivery next day is only possible if the goods are in stock, we do not guarantee next day delivery, the carriage charge is a subsidised charge to cover the cost of transport. Standard delivery is normally on a 2/3 day basis. The same rules apply to 2 day carriage as next day. There is an extra charge to the highlands and islands of Scotland, northern Ireland and other islands around the UK. If you are not sure if an extra carriage charge will be applied you should enter your address in the checkout for an instant quotation. The full carriage charge will be quoted at the cart page and the checkout page once your UK postcode has been entered.
Items marked heavy goods do not come under the above criteria because they are despatched by pallet, see below for more information.
Countries in Europe will be quoted carriage at the checkout once delivery details have been entered. Countries outside of Europe should contact us for a delivery quotation. Payment for all orders outside of Europe will be by bank transfer only. The website does not have the facility to take orders from customers in Europe with a VAT exemption number, please contact our customer services where we will be able to take your order. These products are over the maximum weight for standard carriage charges. The extra carriage is quoted at the cart and checkout pages. The goods will be sent by pallet on a 3 working day delivery service or longer for European delivery. Access for a lorry is required and because the delivery is made by an external haulier they will only deliver the pallet using a tail lift and pallet truck, it is your responsibility to unload the pallet and take the goods inside.
These products are over the 2.6m maximum length allowable for standard carriage therefore carriage is quoted separately.
These products are fragile and are liable to be damaged in transit, as we have found in the past using an external carrier. Unfortunately we cannot despatch these goods by carrier. The following rules apply:

We can deliver by van from a local branch throughout the East Midlands.
- Orders Of Sufficient Quantity
We can deliver direct from the manufacturer, the order for lamps would need to be a minimum of £150.00 for this facility.
If you are able to collect then you are welcome during business hours.
We have an arrangement with some manufacturers where the goods are despatched by the manufacturer direct to you for mainland England and Scotland. Orders outside of these areas (including the Scottish islands, IOM, Scilly Isles, Ireland and the Channel Islands) are subject to extra charges and are quoted seperately, please accept our apologies if this is not shown clearly at the checkout.
